Weather in the mountains
Weather in the mountains
Weather in the mountains
A south-westerly upper-level flow continues to carry very warm, but increasingly unstable, air masses towards the Alps.
Conditions will be stable with plenty of sunshine during the first half of the day. In the afternoon, a few thunderstorms, some of them severe, will develop across South Tyrol.
Mountain weather tomorrow
The high-pressure system will weaken slightly for a while and, together with a south-westerly upper-level flow, unstable air masses will determine the weather conditions.
Conditions in the mountains are changeable. Clouds are obscuring visibility in places, and a few thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. These may be severe in some areas.
