Next evolution
Friday will bring glorious sunshine and the sky will be cloudless for most of the day, with temperatures on the rise. On Saturday there will be plenty of sunshine, but a few clouds will also drift across the sky. From the Ortler to the main alpine crest, the clouds may be a little thicker at times. The north foehn will also pick up. Sunday will then bring bright sunshine with just a few clouds. On Monday, there will be a mix of sun and clouds, with the possibility of a few thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Weather in the mountains
Upper-level flow from north-west, rising air pressure.
The sun will shine across much of the mountainous regions. Localised thunderstorms may develop from cumulus clouds during the afternoon and into the evening.
Mountain weather tomorrow
A north-westerly flow and high air pressure are determining the weather conditions.
There will be plenty of sunshine throughout the day. In the morning, only scattered patches of low stratus clouds will cause reduced visibility. The few cumulus clouds in the afternoon will remain harmless, whilst patches of high cloud will roll in.
